Important Information Regarding the Layouts Provided

 

- A layout print is basically a view of a commodity harness with all possible options.  A commodity harness is a larger harness assembly that is made up of many smaller harness and kit(s).

 

- For more information about Commodity Harnesses see Parts Technical Bulletin 54-076.

 

- Layout prints show all of the possible connectors associated with the harness assembly.

 

- At each connection is a description, which correlates to the connection displayed in the Cascadia tool.

 

- Layout prints provided in this tool are generic and for vehicle specific layouts refer to module 28A.

 

- At each connection is a description, P/N and location.  If the connector is part of a kit it will show “Kit Item” and a number.  This means it comes with a kit and not a specific harness.  Typically the kit would be found in the same module as the layout. If the connector is show with a harness then the location will show “MOD” and then the module where the harness is located:

 

 

- On each layout is a table which has the module, description and requirements.  This table shows what module may be associated with the layout, along with the description of the module and defines if it the module is required or optional.  This can be helpful when trying to locate locations of smaller wiring assemblies:
